There is nothing that makes my growling tummy happier than these energy packed bites of goodness and deliciousness. They are so easy to make. No need to turn your oven on or take out your food processor, which makes them ideal for anyone to whip up. Just roll and refrigerate or freeze. It’s one of my favourite “make now and eat later” recipes! I highly suggest giving them a try, but I must warn you they are addictive.
Here are 4 protein energy bites that you will love anytime of the day!
Oatmeal-ChocoChip Dough Bites
3 cups rolled oats (not instant)
1 scoop protein powder (little less than ½ cup)
2 tablespoons ground flaxseed
1 cup almond butter
½ cup maple syrup
4 tablespoons plant-based milk
¼ cup mini diary-free chocolate chips
2 heaping tablespoons unsweetened shredded coconut
Mix all ingredients in a large bowl.
Roll into desired size (1.5” balls are best).
Place on lined baking sheet and refrigerate for 20 – 30 minutes or place in freezer until frozen and store in airtight container or sealed plastic bag.
Bounty Bites
1 ½ cups gluten-free oats (not instant)
1 scoop chocolate protein powder (little less than ½ cup)
1 ½ cups nut butter
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1 tablespoon ground flaxseed
1/4 cup maple syrup
3 tablespoons plant-based milk
1 ½ tablespoons cacao powder
1 cup unsweetened shredded coconut
Mix all ingredients in a large bowl. Roll into desired size (1.5” balls are best).
Place on lined baking sheet and refrigerate for 20 – 30 minutes or place in freezer until frozen and store in airtight container or sealed plastic bag.
Cranberry-Hemp Power Bites

¼ cup hemp seeds
Pinch salt
1 tablespoon ground flaxseed
1 ¼ teaspoons cinnamon
½ cup dried cranberries
1 cup raw almond butter
¼ cup maple syrup

Roll into desired size (1.5” balls are best).
Place on lined baking sheet and refrigerate for 20 – 30 minutes or place in freezer until frozen and store in airtight container or sealed plastic bag.
Gingerbread Power Bites

1 tablespoon unsulphured molasses
1 ½ teaspoons cinnamon
1 teaspoon ginger
¼ teaspoon cloves
¼ cup raisins
Mix all ingredients in a large bowl.
Roll into desired size (1.5” balls are best).
