BASIC CHIA PUDDING

A super fast and easy recipe and it only has 4 ingredients … breakfast has never been so easy!  Chia seeds have so many benefits including protein, fibre, omega-3 fatty acids and they are a good source of antioxidants.  This pudding is not just for breakfast, you can enjoy it as a snack with fruit and nuts or mix in some cocoa and have it as a light chocolatey dessert.  If you don’t have yogurt in the refrigerator it is easily replaced with plant-based milk.  I must admit I do love the added yogurt as it makes the pudding creamier.  Either way it’s a healthy delight!

Whisk all ingredients together and refrigerate overnight or until pudding consistency is achieved.

Approximately 4 hours.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 ¼ cups plant-based milk
  • ¼ cup plant-based vanilla yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon pure maple syrup
  • ½ cup organic chia seeds

Instructions

  1. Whisk all ingredients together and refrigerate overnight or until pudding consistency is achieved.
  2. Approximately 4 hours.
