I love cranberries in anything, but I must say the combination of cranberries and orange is extra special. I added some ground cloves just to give it the special Christmas flavour. Enjoy this with your Christmas dinner, but also consider eating it on toast, bagels, waffles, pancakes and scones or use it to make my Christmas Thumbprint Cookies. You can make this sauce ahead and freeze it. Thaw out on the counter or heat up in the microwave. It’s ready to go!
Place all ingredients in sauce pan.
Stir and bring to boil. Reduce heat to simmer. Stir slowly until most cranberries pop and sauce forms. Serve warm or cold.
