HAPPY HOUSE MISO GRAVY

This gravy is so bursting with flavour it’s hard to believe it’s vegan and gluten free!!  It hardly takes any time to make and that’s a good thing with Thanksgiving around the corner.   Keeps in the refrigerator for 4 – 5 days.  Just reheat it in the microwave.  Delicious every time!!

Add flour, nutritional yeast and broth in small sauce pan over medium heat.  Whisk until mixture begins to thicken.

Add the rest of the ingredients and continue whisking.  Remove gravy from heat.  You may need to add more broth to thin out gravy to your liking.

Pour into your gravy serving dish. It’s really that easy to prepare!

Ingredients

Scale

2 tablespoons brown rice flour

2 tablespoons nutritional yeast

1 garlic clove, crushed

1 teaspoon avocado oil

1 cup of mushroom broth or vegetable broth

½ teaspoon Dijon mustard

1 ½ teaspoons white organic miso paste


Instructions

Add flour, nutritional yeast and broth in small sauce pan over medium heat.  Whisk until mixture begins to thicken.  Add the rest of the ingredients and continue whisking.  Remove gravy from heat.  You may need to add more broth to thin out gravy to your liking.
