We live in  a world where people work full time and raise families so gardening, harvesting and preserving like my parents did is a difficult undertaking and seemingly impossible to sustain.  It is easy for a vegan to fall into the “junk food vegan” lifestyle.  There are many ready prepared foods out there for vegans but like any choice we must be careful that our decisions support a healthy lifestyle.  I have seen conscientious shoppers frantically reading product labels and I feel their pain.  It’s so hard to know what to buy anymore.   Checking for non BPA linings, non GMO foods and expiry dates has added to the time we spend in the grocery store.  It can be frustrating and overwhelming, but here is some good news! You can produce delicious vegan meals without spending a lot of valuable time in a grocery store or in the kitchen.  My tips and recipes will assist you in achieving the vegan lifestyle you have been wanting.  So grab an apron, roll up your sleeves and let’s have some fun going vegan one meal at a time!
